Meet the people of N/evermore ’25!

Alie McNeil (she/her) is a multi-media artist and mender proudly based in St. Louis. You may know her by her business name, The Bridge Cats, and her brightly colored tent at the Tower Grove Farmers Market. When she isn’t repairing clothes, sewing cat toys, and making art, she’s usually on her bike, commuting around town or riding with her partner, Benton and friends. Alie has four cats: Starlee, Disco, Whisk, and Velo.

Cindi Lyons (they/them) has been an organizer and leader in the swing scene since they founded USF’s swing dance club in 2007. They assisted with Nevermore Jazz Ball and many other St Louis Jitterbug events pre-pandemic, as well as N/evermore ’23, and are excited to take on N/evermore ’25 as Creative Director. This event is the perfect opportunity to merge their links to the swing scene and local community with their passion for sustainability and live jazz.

Madeline Webster-Perry (she/her) is a lifelong dancer who found lindy hop with her wife in 2023. She immediately fell in love with the artform and local St. Louis dance scene. Madeline is passionate about disability justice and has focused her energy as a community member on increasing access and inclusion for disabled dancers. Madeline is thrilled for Nevermore as a celebration of her local community and the power dancers have to impact their communities for good.

Maurice

Maurice Fields (they/them) is a Dancer/Instructor/DJ from the Twin Cities in MN. They have been dancing Lindy Hop, Blues and other Vernacular Jazz dances since 2017. Maurice has a goofy, yet clear, communication style that translates uniquely through DJing, laughs, and care for the dances they are so gracious to teach. Maurice loves banter and believes that there is continuous streamlines of conversation through layers of partnership in dance, and that it is what the culture currently needs. This is Maurice’s first Nevermore! Ask them for a deep cut song, and they’ll throw you one.

Hi, I am Richelle Webster-Perry (she/her) and I’ll be coordinating local housing for dancers attending N/evermore 2025. I love St. Louis’ sense of local pride and its DIY, community-driven ethos and am looking forward to welcoming visiting dancers to our city. I’ve been dancing for most of my life and fell in love with the movement, music, and community of lindy hop in early 2023. Last year, I coordinated local housing for Dance MO Bal, and I’m excited to use my enthusiasm for spreadsheets and travel logistics to support N/evermore this year.

Sophia (she/her/hers) is Perennial’s Director of Creative ReUse. She holds a BFA in Studio Art with a minor in International Human Rights from Webster University, and she’s delighted to combine these two passions in her work at Perennial. Her favorite part of the job is getting to support her fellow local artists while creating opportunities for creative reuse education in the St. Louis area. Sophia owes her love of creative reuse to her grandmother, who could find a second life for anything. Outside of Perennial, you can find Sophia making things, dreaming (both asleep and awake), hanging with her puppy Ekko, and running her eco-friendly paper goods and accessories business, Just Human Studio.

Veronica (she/her) is a Balboa dancer and organizer living in St Louis. For the past three years, she and Xander have hosted Dance MO Bal. She’s feels eternally grateful for having found the dance community in St Louis, full of goofy, beautiful, and generous humans. Veronica is using her neighborhood knowledge to arrange venues for N/evermore ’25.
